Donations Can Come In Many Forms, And All Are Welcome

Since 1984, Christmas In October (CIO) has grown to support over 4000 volunteers working on over 400 houses each year.
Our ability to help needy homeowners with repairs depends upon the availability of donations to support the volunteers.

Company Donations

Christmas in October has a remarkable Return on Investment. Last year, we had over $2,000,000 impact through a budget of a little over $300,000.

• We are approved by the Missouri Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP)
• CIO can provide 50% tax credits to any eligible taxpayer that makes a qualified contribution to us
  

Individual Donations

As we provide all of our services free of charge, money is one thing we greatly need.  Your money will be used wisely and with care towards the purchase of supplies that are necessary to refurbish these homes.  It will help keep this program running so that hundreds of people in the Kansas City area will continue to be aided by our efforts.  There are two ways you can choose to donate:

• For your convenience, you can also donate online via credit card.  Simply follow the DonorEdge link and you will be taken to our comprehensive DonorEdge profile.  There you will find “Make Credit Card Donation” on the left-hand side of the screen.

Material Donations

If you are remodeling and have items that you think could be used in our program, just e-mail us at info@christmasinoctober.org with a list.  Let us know if you can deliver it to the warehouse, or if we need to pick it up.
